Des the Pheasant
Despite their propensity for wandering on roads causing chaos, pheasant’s are beautiful birds if you take a moment to see all their fantastic colours. This original pastel drawing is A4-sized, in an A3-sized mount. I never use fixatives on my work in order to preserve the colour, so please leave it in the protective packaging until you’re ready to frame it to avoid unwanted pastel smudges.
Originally drawn in Tracey Walder’s Pastel Workshop.
